Mayan Riviera Retreat
Your Story Matters
A Yoga and Writing Experience
April 15-21, 2018
Starting at $1300
Early Bird ends NOv 1
The stories we write, the ones we tell, the one we’re creating with our life—they all matter. Stories have the power to shape us or tear us down; they keep us distant or draw us together. When we tell the truth, we give others permission to do the same. Your story matters because you do.
In this 7-day yoga and writing retreat, we will explore our stories. Using the modalities of yoga, qoya, and writing, we will unshackle creativity, feel our bodies as allies, and cultivate more self-intimacy. Whether you're a yogi who loves to journal, or a writer seeking to reconnect with your body, this retreat is for you.
One of the greatest gifts of a retreat is TIME and SPACE—away from the commitments of daily life—to Restore and Rejuvenate.
Each day will include sunrise/sunset yoga and nourishing meals to connect deeply with your body, writing prompts to open creativity, and tons of free time to connect more intimately with yourself and each other (yoga experience recommended). If you’re feeling adventurous, hop on a bike, swim in the ocean, or stand up paddle board. If you’re feeling tranquil, enjoy a massage, sip sangria on beachfront terrace, or take an afternoon siesta in the hammock.
Other exciting OPTIONS: Tour ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum; swim in cool, emerald cenotes; workout on the beach with Athlon Fitness & Performance founder, Ryan Joiner; receive private writing coaching from Leslie St. John, MFA/RYT; scuba-dive with otherworldly beauty, dive deeper into your spiritual journey with a sacred Temazcal ceremony; stay open to travel magic, and let your heart guide you to create an experience that serves your soul.
