Qoya

This virtual Qoya class is an opportunity for you to dance with your relationship to Radical Self-Love. Is your heart calling you toward something that is deeply rooted, expansive, and “more succulent” than self-esteem or self-acceptance? If so, join us for a journey inspired by the work of poet-activist Sonya Renee Taylor and her book, The Body is Not an Apology, where she explores “how we value and honor our own bodies impacts how we value and honor the bodies of others.” When self-love is “radical,” the impact goes beyond ourselves. We all get freer. But first we start with inquiry beneath the skin; we dance to remember our wise, wild, free selves—robed in Radical Self-Love.

Because I want as many of us as possible to remember their Radical Self-Love, I’m offering a fun GIVEAWAY of Qoya founder Rochelle Scheick’s book, Qoya: A Compass for Navigating an Embodied Life that is Wise, Wild, and Free. To Play: Bring a friend to Qoya on 3/21. I’ll draw the winner at the end of class.

Let’s journal with our pens and our bodies. Community is here. Belonging is now.

Sliding Scale: $15-$27.
