Vinyasa 2 - T 9:15-10:30am, SLO Yoga Center, Downtown
Recommended for students with at least 3 months of consistent vinyasa practice. LEVEL 2 Vinyasa classes explore complex movements and sequences including arm balances and inversions layered over solid foundations. These classes may incorporate deeper backbends, hip opening, twists, and forward folds. I encourage rest periods and offer modifications as needed. Classes are often thematic, utilizing myth, metaphor, chakras, or narrative for greater soul growth and expansion. Again, sweaty-spiritual.
Flow & Stretch - W 9:30-10:45am, SLO Yoga Center, Merigold
Suitable for all levels. Good choice for beginners. My flow and stretch classes link breath and movement in a series of flowing sequences to build warmth, stamina, strength, and grace in the body, while promoting mental inspiration and calm. Expect to explore Sun Salutations, sequences of standing and seated poses, including basic arm balances, twists, core work, backbends, and supported inversions, ending with longer-held (2-5min) yin poses. Develop your pranayama and meditation practice. My classes are often thematic, utilizing myth, metaphor, chakras, or narrative for greater soul growth and expansion. Think sweaty and spiritual.
The Flow - F 9-10am, The Yoga Standard

We love to switch it up with creative sequences, and take time to break down fun postures in a welcoming environment. Beginner or advanced, this class gives you the opportunity to grow at your own pace with the support of magnetic teachers, who are there to motivate you to find your inner potential. Sweatier, spiritual.
All-Levels Vinyasa -
Suitable for all levels but those new to yoga should start with Vinyasa Level 1. As you mindfully integrate movement and breath, this Vinyasa class is aimed at the seasoned beginner who has Level 1 experience and intermediate practitioners who are ready to expand their yoga practice. These classes begin to encourage practitioners to explore getting upside-down and may incorporate some arm balances and deeper backbends. I recommend students seeking to take these classes feel confident, safe, and strong throughout classic sun salutations. Classes are often thematic, utilizing myth, metaphor, chakras, or narrative for greater soul growth and expansion. Again, sweaty-spiritual.
Suitable for all levels. This yoga class establishes the alignment foundation for a sustainable yoga practice. Expect to explore basic shapes as well as key pose actions for standing and seated poses, including balance, twists, core work, and mild inversions, as well as pranayama and seated meditation. In this class, I seek to give you the tools you need for more vigorous, flowing vinyasa classes.
